Newborn Lifestyle Photography | Baby Luca – September 2018

Big brother Leo stole the show during his little brother Luca’s newborn session last week.  From the moment I walked into Alicia and Marco’s beautiful home in Albany, Leo was the star!  His facial expressions and comments had me smiling and laughing throughout the entire session (just look below!).  It’s been two and a half years since I first met Leo and his parents for his first birthday cake smash and it’s hard to believe the adorable baby who sat in my studio in utter disbelief that the entire cake in front of him, was for him, is now a big brother!

I’ve probably said it a hundred times before and will continue to do so, but newborn sessions are my absolute favorite.  Documenting the joy and magic a newborn brings to a family is the best.  Photographing Luca at 7 days old (on his due date!) was no exception.  He was the sweetest little guy!  If he wasn’t sleeping through the photos, or the endless hugs and kisses he received from his big brother, he wanted only to be with mama and eat!  We took a couple of breaks to help him out and I was able to capture some one on one time between Dad and Leo enjoying story time as well.  Luca is the perfect addition and I have no doubt he’ll be Leo’s little sidekick playing transformers and cracking jokes right along side his big brother in no time at all!  Thank you Alicia and Marco for inviting me into your home to capture your new family of four!
