Baby Vivienne – Altamont Newborn Photography

From the moment I pulled up to the Alric’s farmhouse, I was in love.  In love with the beautiful wrap around porch, festive Halloween decor, big white barn in the back, and the old farmhouse kitchen.  The house was gorgeous.  But then I met the wonderful people inside and fell in love all over again.  As their Altamont newborn photographer, I was greeted at the door by Pierre and baby Vivienne’s two big brothers, Louie and Charlie – just 3.5 and 2, as well as two adorable pups, Andre and Mazie.  I have a special place in my heart for families with young children close in age, they remind me of my own family and all the chaos and love this season of life brings (that I’m also currently smack dab in the middle of!).  I soon found out that Louie and I share a birthday too (shout out to all the April babies reading this!).

We had a very relaxed session and I loved getting to know Rachel and baby Vivienne while I captured the sweetness that is being ten days old.  Rachel was so friendly and easy to talk to – I quickly felt completely comfortable in her home and as if I were hanging out with an old friend.  Baby Vivienne was wide awake for the majority of our time together.  Her bright blue eyes rarely rested on anyone or thing for very long.  She was very curious about her big brothers and the world around her and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!  She loved being swaddled, her binky, and my magical baby shusher!  There was so much love between these five and it was clear that baby Vivienne was the perfect addition to their family!  It’s only been two weeks since I photographed the Alric family, but I’m sure baby Vivienne has already changed so much!  Thank you Rachel and Pierre for inviting me into you home and allowing me to capture these fleeting moments for you to treasure for a lifetime!
