Albany Child Photographer | Jude’s First Birthday

As Jude’s Mommy, I am also lucky enough to be his personal Albany Child Photographer 🙂  While he is about to celebrate 15 months next week, not 12 months, I haven’t had an opportunity to share his Birthday photos on my blog yet.  It has been a busy, busy fall but he was such a cute model, I figure better late than never.  Amazingly, Jude is the only one of my three kiddos I held a cake smash session for.  And he LOVED it!  If you are on the fence about having a cake smash session for your little one, they are so much fun!  Who doesn’t love making a mess they don’t have to clean up 😉  I also have packages that include outdoor photos / family photos!  For Jude’s outdoor photos I chose the very popular “Wild One” theme!  It’s such a perfect theme for a first birthday and I love the black and gold together.  Looking back on these photos I can’t believe how much he has changed in three short months, or that he sat still for any of these photos!

Our first year with Jude was our craziest year yet with three kids four and under.  But it was also our best year yet.  Jude has brought so much love and happiness to our family.  He is a very easy going little guy who loves to watch the chaos from his high chair.  He adores his big brother and sister and is always attempting to get into their play room or take what they have.  He has abandoned his baby toys and has moved onto (and into) tupperware, pots and pans, K cups, dog food, and anything else he can get his hands on in the kitchen.  He isn’t walking just yet, but can now stand for a couple of seconds without the assistance of anything or anyone.  He is so proud of himself when he does this and grins and claps until he falls down!  Every morning since September he has waited for Lucy’s bus in Daddy’s arms and he cheers and claps when it arrives.  I have a feeling that as soon as he’s walking, he’ll be attempting to get on with Lucy!  It’s been a great year, Baby Jude, and we are looking forward to seeing what the next one brings!  I promise to get your 2 year old birthday post out during the month of September 🙂  Love, Mama
