A feeling of deja vu came over me as I stepped into Peyton’s beautiful gray and white chevron, elephant themed nursery. Like Peyton’s Mama, Tiffany, I chose a gray elephant theme for Lucy’s nursery over SIX years ago! These years certainly are flying by and newborn photography is so important in documenting all the little details and moments of having a newborn at home for the first time!
I met sweet Peyton at her home when she was just 5 days old for her session. She slept the entire time I was photographing her. She was so relaxed and peaceful and it made photographing her a dream! And allowed me and her mama to spend quite a bit of time talking about running; something we are both passionate about!
Over the course of her pregnancy, Tiffany ran 10 races with Peyton! AMAZING! I am so impressed with her dedication to continue running and keep both herself and unborn daughter healthy. And what a cool story she’ll be able to share with Peyton in a couple of years! Spoiler alert: Scroll to the bottom to see Peyton with all of the race bibs she completed with her Mama!
Peyton, Tiffany, and Chad have already settled comfortably into an adorable little family of three and I’m so thankful they invited me into their home to preserve these early days! There is just so much love between the three of them; Peyton is one lucky little lady!
