When Kanika first contacted me to photograph her family I was looking forward to meeting up with a friend of my sister’s from law school. When she mentioned she’d like to have the session on their property which included an old barn, stone wall, wooden bridges (yes, multiple bridges) and a lake, I was giddy with excitement over all the possibilities! And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
When I photographed this sweet family of three this past fall, they were about to become a family of four. And can I just say that Kanika looks absolutely amazing! Big sister Kaura was so much fun to photograph! Full of smiles and personality. At the end of the session I gave Kaura a stethoscope to listen to her little brother and it may be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. She was so serious about taking care of mom and baby brother and afterwards insisted on getting her own doctor kit out 🙂
