Family Photos: Rahman Family

It was a gorgeous fall afternoon as I pulled into the long driveway that lead me from the main road to the Rahman’s beautiful, old farmhouse.  The wrap around porch was the first thing to catch my eye as the white farmhouse came into view.  The trees that lined the property were beautiful shades of red and orange; leaves just beginning to fall.  I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon for family photos with one of my favorite families!

I first photographed the Rahman family last November when there were only three of them.  It was such a treat to be back this year and to meet baby Asher for the first time!  Asher is a happy, 8 month old with beautiful, big brown eyes.  Capturing his curiousity (and his eyelashes!) was definitely a favorite of mine this year!  He is at the perfect age where you plop them down and they don’t really go anywhere; which made photographing him a breeze.  As for proud,  big sister, Kaura – she was a big help holding Asher and making him smile!  She has a ton of personality and we had a blast playing in the leaves, dancing to music from mom’s cell phone, and exploring the property together.  She also has a ton of style for a four year old – I loved her dress and sheepskin vest 🙂

Rahman family, Thank you for inviting me to your home to help capture and preserve your beautiful children as they are today!  I had a blast and know you will treasure these little moments for a lifetime!
